Police Break Up hookup Ring; 2 Arrested

Howard County police arrested two women after officers say they broke up an illegal hookup service.Police said they began their investigation about a month ago after they received a tip.On Thursday, police raided the Sherwood Crossing apartment complex in Elkridge and said they found two female prostitutes and one male client. Nichole D. Gollubier, 36, of Bel Air, and Michelle Hyson, 35, of Rosedale, were charged with two counts each of general prostitution.

One of the women had an extensive Web site that included a photo gallery, a price list and a section on etiquette, which included advice to clients about bringing business items to the door because appearances are important. It also stated, “Please refrain from excessive dirty talk. It makes me uncomfortable.”Neither woman lives at the location, police said. Spokeswoman Sherry Llewellyn said they believe the pair was using the place for business purposes.None of the service’s clients have been charged. Police said they’ve been critical sources of information in the investigation.”Over the last couple of weeks, they’ve been in contact with people they believe to be clients of this service,” Llewellyn said.The complex is located near an elementary school.Police are still investigating.
